Absolute throttle position
Absolute throttle position is a scaled generic signal. A closed throttle does not have to read zero, and this is not necessarily accelerator-pedal position.

A worked decoding example
Request: 01 11
Response: 41 11 40
Data: 40 → 25.098039 %
The example shows service, PID and data only. It omits adapter headers, CAN identifier, length and padding. It is not a live vehicle reading.
Reading context
Do not mix absolute, relative and commanded throttle channels. Use the manufacturer’s signal definition for an electronic throttle diagnosis.
A decoded value is a measurement, not a diagnosis. Encoding limits are not normal operating limits. Confirm vehicle support and the manufacturer’s procedure.
