Technical accuracy

Parameter entries explain the service, PID, data length, units and calculation. Worked examples show how response bytes produce a physical value. Vehicle-specific operating limits and diagnostic procedures must be checked against the manufacturer’s service information.

Examples and operating limits

Encoding limits describe what a signal can represent. They are not universal normal operating limits. Unsupported and missing readings are not zero. Example responses illustrate calculations and do not represent a road test or a completed repair.

Languages

Navigation and data tools support twelve languages. Detailed parameter explanations and reading guides are available in English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. Other language indexes link to the English explanations.

Updates

Technical entries and corrections are reviewed before publication. Updates may clarify a calculation, signal definition, vehicle limitation or translation.
